It’s Finally/Already December! 2016

This is my mom’s beautiful, perfect, white Christmas Tree. The reason I say it’s perfect is because it takes literally 1 minute to set the whole tree up. And my mom does it anyways so I just marvel at it’s beauty when it’s over.

The girls, of course, love the tree. Last year they didn’t care much about the tree, so it’s cute seeing them say “pretty” when they see it. They are just the cutest.

I’m trying to be happy and positive this month for the holidays. I really want to enjoy the Christmassy spirit, not sulk through the entire month

Tomorrow, December 5 2016, makes 1 year since my brother passed away. It is still extremely difficult for me to come to terms with that, but I want to try and be joyful and happy, for him. He deserves it. We all deserve it.

Disney’s Magic Kingdom Trip 2016

I went to Disney’s Magic Kingdom this weekend with my family. I am exhausted LOL It felt very long at the time, but now it feels like it flew by so fast it almost didn’t happen. Lol.

But my girls and everyone else had a blast! I had fun too, excluding the stupid arguments and the horrendous amount of pain I was in.

We arrived Friday at the All Star Movies Resort. After checking in we ate and got situated in our rooms. Saturday was the big day of going to the park. My grandparents pay for the entire trip every single year, so they are “in charge”; Therefore, they are in charge of our “Agenda“.

We went on the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin ride first, which is awesome! If you’ve never been on that ride, it has laser guns attached to the lap bar plus a joystick that makes you spin! And everything is black and neon colors. That ride was definitely fun!

Then we went on It’s A Small World 🌎 and I was lucky enough to record our journey through the ride. I have to upload it to YouTube because it’s 10 minutes long, so check back shortly for the updated post.

The last ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean which was really cool. I’m obsessed with pirates and all things related!

We went to eat lunch after this ride, and then I got to window shop for a few minutes before returning to our room. I just couldn’t go on any longer. My hips and thighs and feet and back were all on fire. I wished for a wheelchair.

The following day, Sunday, I made sure to get caricatures done of the girls. They are so cute. Robert was the name of the artist. He deserves credit. I can’t get over how well he draws eyes. They are just beautiful.

I also got them one of those pressed pennies with a Winnie the Pooh on it as a keepsake. Before we got the pictures done I also took the girls into the gift shop to pick out a toy each. Aurora was easy; she chose a pretty Pink Minnie Mouse. Raven took a while to find one she liked. She finally saw a baby Elsa stuffed toy. Then I saw some really cute hairties that I just couldn’t pass up. Overall I spent about $120. Oh, and my birth mom, who the girls call Kiki, bought them each a bouncy ball with a Disney character and glitter inside. So they have a nice Disney collection started. That’s not including the stuff I bought them last year.

So yes, it was a good trip. I overreacted at one point but we all got through it and had a great time together.

Happy Thanksgiving! 2016

I am thankful for so much! For my beautiful twin girls, my parents, my family, my amazing friends.

I want nothing more than to feel thankful today and feel happy. But I can’t help but feel the emptiness in my heart since my brother has been gone. I know that he will be eating dinner with us. I know he wouldn’t miss this for the world.

I can’t wait to eat thanksgiving dinner with him again.

Thankful for Progress

This is my arrest mugshot from 2010. I was arrested on a felony charge for grand retail theft.6 years makes a huge difference. I have grown so much and have learned so much. I am grateful for some of the obstacles I had to overcome, because they made me that much stronger!

World Prematurity Day

In light of World Prematurity Day, I have some photos I would like to share involving my beautiful twin girls. They were born at 25 weeks gestation.

The top left and bottom right pictures are of myself holding my daughter Aurora for the first time, the day before her heart surgery. The bottom left and top right are of myself and my daughter Raven, on 2 separate days. They were both less than 3 weeks old in these pictures. I think they were just over 2lbs.

I will never forget the day they were born. I was so unprepared for what came the following few months. I guess you’re never really prepared, no matter how much time in advance they tell you. Until you go through it, you don’t really know what to do.

Rocket and Groot: Stranded on Planet Strip Mall

So I came across this beauty that I just HAD to get! I HAD to own this precious piece of art. I am obsessed with Guardians of the Galaxy and Rocket and Groot are my favorite characters. (Besides the fact that I’d do absolutely anything  to Chris Pratt. 😍😍😍)

I was so excited when I found out they were making a TV Show about it last year. Then, just recently found out that they are making a second movie!!! So this book was like the icing on the cake for me! Lol

Mr. Robot Red Wheelbarrow

You have no idea how EXCITED I am about this!!!!!!

Manic Depression and Wine

So this post is just for fun because I’m drinking. LOL.

So there will be a lot of different topics I will probably talk about on here.

I’m a wine drinker because I am a mom so I can not longer be trusted with hard liquor. And beer just makes me bloated and I don’t like that. Wine gets the job done pretty quickly, in my opinion. {Pink Moscato is my fav}

Well, seeing as I only have like 6 followers, if you stumble upon this page on happenstance then you will have no idea what I’m talking about. So I’ll make a little, short prologue for ya!

Yesterday was 11 months since my brother passed away.He was only 25 years old. He died from a drug overdose. Something he took was laced with Fentynal. Who would’ve known, right?

But, here’s a little twist for you….

That day, December 5 2015, I had asked him to get me 2 of a certain medication [non narcotic (I know that doesn’t make it any better)]  and I would give him 1 for the hassle of getting them for me.

Guess which one he got?

Guess which one I got?
